Lea Seydoux was confused by No Time To Die's climax

24-Jun-2023 • No Time To Die

Bond girl Lea Seydoux, who played Madeleine Swann in 'SPECTRE' and 'No Time To Die' said she doesn’t always understand what a director wants.

“Sometimes I struggle a bit more. I don’t exactly know the subject, maybe I’m wrong. Maybe I didn’t get it. And I’ve had moments where I had scenes I didn’t understand while I was filming them," she told News.com.au.

One of those experiences was during No Time To Die, specifically the scenes at the end in the exotic garden when James Bond was tussling with the villain Safin while Seydoux’s character was put in peril.

“[That was a scene] where I really struggled. I didn’t understand. And the director [Cary Fukunaga] was a bit angry with me because he thought it was clear.”
