Phoebe Waller-Bridge comments on Bond 25

11-May-2019 • No Time To Die

Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who was drafted in by Daniel Craig to work on the Bond 25 script, has commented briefly about the production on a podcast with the Hollywood Reporter.

Contrary to media coverage of when she was revealed as joining the production, MI6 understands that Waller-Bridge had started collaborating on Bond 25 much earlier in the year and was not a 'last minute' addition.

“I think I’m still processing it. It’s really exciting. The film they’ve got is such an exciting story. It's just been a joy to work on," she said at the end of the interview.

When asked if she was bringing a feminist humour to the script, she said: "We’ll see, we’ll see what I can sneak in. I was really just making them feel like real people" [referencing the female characters in the script]. "Daniel's films have had really fantastic Bond Girls and it's just keeping up with that."
