Rumours resurface of Dua Lipa singing title song, filming music video in Italy

30-Mar-2019 • No Time To Die

According to the Italian press, songstress Dua Lipa will shoot a music video for the Bond 25 title song in the country later this year.

The music video "will be shot between the end of August and the month of September among the set locations of the Sassi di Matera (Terrazza Ulmo, square in front of the rupestrian church of Madonna de Idris, Palazzo Lanfranchi, Piazza Duomo, Sexantio) and Marina di Pisticci (Riva dei Ginepri-Porto degli Argonauti)," according to local reports.

"Among the scenes of the script there are various chases in luxury cars between the roofs of the houses in the Sassi of Matera, meetings in cave churches" and "thanks to [Bond's] role of secret agent at the service of the queen will have to avoid a world conflict". Lipa "will apparently get to enjoy a final form of deserved relaxation with her Bond girl in the most glamorous and wild beach of Marina di Pisticci with sips of a Vesper Martini."

Rumours of Dua Lipa performing the song emerged last year when Years & Years star Mikey Goldsworthy singer mentioned it on a radio interview. "I thought they’d ask us to do the theme song, but alas it’s Dua Lipa. Shit, am I not meant to say that? That’s what I heard… I feel bad now, maybe I've ruined everything."
