'Skyfall' prop sign going up for auction

11-May-2017 • Collecting

One of only three original signs made for the fictional 'Skyfall' lodge that featured in the 2012 James Bond film is coming up for auction.

The vendor who worked on the film made three from his mould. One as a test (this one up for auction) and two others which were used for the filming.

He kept this one for his own reference. It is made out of a very hard but light plaster and measures 11 x 36 inches.

EON Productions kept the original mould and have since made another 13, one of which appeared in the Christies Bond sale a few years ago.

The lot is expected to fetch between £600 - £900 and goes under the hammer on June 1st.
