Tabloid touts Sam Smith for a Bond song return

03-Jan-2018 • Bond 25

Tabloid newspaper NY Daily News is pumping up the idea of a return of Sam Smith to write and sing the next James Bond title song, despite the crooner saying he would not do another.

According to the paper, "James Bond’s bosses are secretly wooing crooner Sam Smith to consider pitching another theme song for the spy franchise. The executive producer team of Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson hope to have Smith, 25, return to sing for the still-untitled Bond flick, which will be released in 2019."

Smith reportedly told his team: “I am one and done.”
