'Thunderball' next up for BBC Radio 4 adaptation

19-Sep-2016 • Media Alert

Ian Fleming's ninth James Bond novel, 'Thunderball', will be the next radio play adaptation broadcast by BBC Radio 4.

Jarvis & Ayres Productions produced their first 007 radio play with 'Dr. No' in 2008 and followed it with 'Goldfinger' in 2010, 'From Russia With Love' in 2012, 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' in 2014 and 'Diamonds Are Forever' in 2015.

Although it is yet to be confirmed, it is assumed that actor Toby Stephens will once again be providing the voice for James Bond.

'Thunderball' will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 as the 'Saturday Play' on December 10th, 2016 at 2:30pm
