According to various reports, floor plans of Britain's Secret Intelligence Service'(SIS) headquarters, better-known colloquially as 'the MI6 building' have been lost by a contractor during refurbishment.
The BBC reports that documents, "which went missing a few weeks ago, were produced and owned by Balfour Beatty and designed to be used for the refurbishment. Most, but not all, of the documents were recovered inside the building after it was noticed they were missing. The incident is reportedly a result of carelessness, rather than any hostile activity."
Although destroyed in the Daniel Craig era of the James Bond universe, the real-life SIS building is the active nerve-centre for the UK's foreign intelligence service.
