Variety confirms new writer, production to start late April

17-Apr-2019 • No Time To Die

Trade paper Variety has confirmed earlier news that 'Killing Eve' scribe Phoebe Waller-Bridge has joined Bond 25 for a final pass on the script.

"A source with knowledge of the situation confirmed that the British writer was indeed taking a pass through the script and that director Cary Fukunaga was fully aware of the decision," the report stated.

Variety's source also said, "production remained on track to begin at the end of April."

She is the sixth known writer to have worked on Bond 25 following  John Hodge, Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, Paul Haggis, and Scott Z. Burns.
