Daniel Craig and Judi Dench were back in action
in central London again this weekend for what is said to be the
final shots in the long
sequence that has been filmed
on location sporadically since the New Year. The
principal cast will now move on to Turkey.
Whitehall Court, Whitehall Place and Horse Guards Avenue were
all closed from 6am until 5pm on Sunday 1st April 2012 for the "Skyfall" filming,
and plenty of locals and tourists alike managed to catch a glimpse
of the action. Javier Bardem was also spotted by onlookers whizzing
around in a police car.
Elsewhere, actress Helen McCrory attended the
'Making of Harry Potter' grand opening at Leavesden on Saturday,
and talked to
reporters a bit about her role in the new Bond film. She said
that Sam Mendes called her at home to offer her the role, and
she made sure her schedule was open in February. She confirmed
she has completed all her filming on "Skyfall", where
she will appear as a member of the British Parliament called
Clair Dowar.
