In 2004, Carta
Mundi, a Belgian company that is the global market
leader in the production and sale of playing cards, was invited
by EON Productions for an exclusive collaboration in the context
of the new Bond movie, ‘Casino Royale’. The Turnhout-based
playing card manufacturer was asked to design and produce the playing
cards and the poker chips that play an important role in the Bond
film, in collaboration with the producing company itself.
