With only a couple of exceptions, every James
Bond punctuates the end of the pre-title sequence with a well-known
artist performing
the film's title song ("Dr. No" had no pre-title sequence or
song, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" featured an instrumental).
As the film series celebrates its 50th anniversary, Adele will
give the franchise one of the best chances of landing a number
one hit on both sides of the Atlantic. But who were the past
successes with pop charts, and who were the flops?
