The Story
This four part story embarks with two mysterious men meeting
in a cable car over the French Alps. A sniper using a high-tech
weapon shoots the cable car down.
We move to M’s office, with Bond flirting with Moneypenny
briefly. M discuss the loss of "Rogers" who was
one of the men on the cable car.
A hint of the time period is given when we see the word-processor!

Artwork
Watkins has found good balance for this first part, using simple
lines with strong colouring by Phillips. The characters have unique
definition with no scruffy lines or over-detailing in the close
ups.
A young Bond is sharp, smooth, and he does not stand out from
the surrounding characters. Watkiss’s Bond is a cross between
Fleming’s literary Bond and a young softy defined man.
Dialogue
With a smaller canvas than previous Dark Horse Bond comic adventures,
the dialogue is short and snappy.
