Filming continues in Solden next week

13-Feb-2015 • Spectre (2015)

The production team for SPECTRE returns to the spectacular glacier that was host to 007 and his co-stars on the 5th and 6th of January. Several key scenes with Daniel Craig, Ben Whishaw, Dave Bautista and Lea Seydoux have already been shot on the location, but according to the official ski resort website, certain areas will be closed in the coming week to accommodate the filmmakers.

It is likely that Craig and co-stars will not be on location for this part of the shoot and that the work is being completed by the second unit. The first unit was last on location in Oxfordshire, filming at Blenheim Palace, which is said to stand in for a scene set in Italy. Meanwhile, the real Rome is gearing up for Bond's arrival later this month.

However, back in Solden on Monday and Tuesday, filming will take place on the road up to the glacier, in the glacier road tunnel and on piste 30. Piste 30 will be closed each day until 15:30 local time.

Thanks to `Jesper` for the alert.
