UK TV ratings for 'No Time To Die' announced

09-Jan-2023 • No Time To Die

'No Time To Die' made its UK terrestrial television premiere on ITV1 on New Year's Day - just 460 days after its world premiere.

Usually, the debut of a James Bond film on TV is a major event, but ITV spent very little time and money promoting it.

Broadcast between 8pm and 11pm on January 1st 2023, 'No Time To Die' had 2.557 million viewers on the live broadcast. It secured 17.9% audience share.

When adding same-day viewers (time-shifted) the audience rose to 2.948m. The figure rose again by a further 493,000 viewers when taking into account 7-day time-shifted viewing.

For comparison, back in 2004, 'Die Another Day' had an audience of 7.9m live viewers for its debut on ITV. A few years later in 2009, 'Casino Royale's debut had an audience of 5.1m. 'Skyfall' landed 7.1m in 2014. In 2018, 'SPECTRE' pulled in 5 million.
