Legendary James Bond stunt double and 007 stunt coordinator Vic Armstrong is helming his first ever film. Based on the series of books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkin, "Left Behind" is an paranormal action-adventure with a twist.

Without warning, millions of people around the globe simply vanish. All that remains are their clothes and belongings... and an overwhelming sense of terror. The vanishings cause unmanned vehicles to crash and burn. Emergency forces everywhere are devastated. Gridlock, riots and looting overrun the cities. And there is no one to help or provide answers. In an instant, the earth has been plunged into darkness.

In this video, director Vic Armstrong shares his take on the new film, his experiences as director and what is in store for the audience.

This is Vic's first major picture as first unit director, but he has worked as a second unit director for more than thirty years and has more than 45 years experience in the film industry. Starring in "Left Behind" are Nicolas Cage, Chad Michael Murray, Lea Thompson, and Nicky Whelan.

MI6 Confidential, the James Bond magazine, recently spoke to director Vic Armstrong about his career and his work on James Bond adventures during the Pierce Brosnan era. In his time with 007, Armstrong has staged some fantastic action pieces, including the fantastic car duel in "Die Another Day", the BMW motorbike chase in "Tomorrow Never Dies" and the Thames boat pursuit in "The World Is Not Enough".
