EON confirms Daniel Craig injury, Bond 25 still on schedule

22-May-2019 • No Time To Die

After a week of tabloid coverage that Daniel Craig had suffered everything from a 'brutal injury' to twisting his ankle, with filming 'canceled,' and clouds of doom forming over Bond 25, EON Productions today broke silence on the matter an issued this statement:

Despite the official clarification, The Sun still managed to misreport the news by falsely stating that Daniel Craig would be getting surgery in Jamaica. This is not true.  The first version of their report stated: "Daniel Craig has been injured on the set of the new James Bond film. The actor, 51, will now undergo "minor ankle surgery" in Jamaica..."

The paper amended the online version of the story to remove the falsehood but issued no notice of correction: "The actor, 51, will now undergo "minor ankle surgery" on a break from shooting the latest instalment of the spy film series in Jamaica."
