007 action unit director Vic Armstrong says Pierce Brosnan will ` be back for one if not two more` James Bond films

17-May-2004 • Casino Royale

Vic Armstrong has joined the ranks of Bond regulars backing Pierce Brosnan to return to the tuxedo as 007 in the 21st James Bond film.

Despite media rumours and Brosnan`s comments on the current `paralysis` the producers are suffering due to the indecision on the direction the next film will take, Brosnan is still the hot favourite to star.

Vic Armstrong spoke on the TCM channel on US TV last week (introducing a series of stunt movies), "Pierce isn't ready to give it up yet, and I know he'll be back for one if not two more."

Armstrong has been involved with James Bond stunts since he 1967 when he was the first `ninja` to slide down into Blofeld's lair in "You Only Live Twice". Since then, Armstrong has become Action Unit Director on the Brosnan-era of films.

"He's been a joy to work with. We work out the stunts together and he's still very athletic and very keen to do them himself. He gets fitter with every film and he's got plenty more to give to Bond."

Thanks to `Molly` for the alert.
