Writer Paul Haggis comments on Bond 22 villain rumour

30-Aug-2007 • Quantum Of Solace

Back in October last year, actress Eva Green, who played Vesper Lynd in "Casino Royale", revealed that Bond 22 was going to be a direct continuation. She said that it would revolves around a dark secret Vesper had, involving her lover being tortured (as with the backstory to the character in Ian Fleming's original 1953 novel). This leads Bond to his next mission. When asked is she would return in flashbacks she says that Vesper will likely return on a computer, a pre-recorded message by a web cam on the internet.

Now writer Paul Haggis has given a hint that it may be the case.

Speaking to IGN.com earlier this week, Haggis commented, "Oh, that would be cool, wouldn't it?", but when pressed further said, "It's not a denial and it's not a statement. I'm not going to tell you anything!"
