Charlie Higson receives warm welcome at book signing in Norwich

11-Jun-2008 • Young Bond

Former University of East Anglia student, comedian and respected author, Charlie Higson received a warm welcome from fans and book-lovers in Norwich.

Mr Higson is the author of the Young Bond series and signed copies of Hurricane Gold at the Borders store in Chapelfield - reports The Advertiser.

Sophie Hallett, marketing manager of Chapelfield said: “It was great to see so many Young Bond fans in Chapelfield.

“Charlie must have signed hundreds of copies of his books which shows just how popular Bond is with readers of all ages.”

The signing was one of a series of Bond related events organised by Chapelfield and its retailers throughout this week, celebrating the centenary of the original creator of Bond, Ian Fleming.

Some youngsters even turned up in their own suave James Bond suits.
