The first week of filming in Italy wrapped on Friday with the Aston Martin DB5 chase continuing down the via Fiorentini, via Lombardi, and via D'Addozio in Matera.

The local municipality, working with Lotus Productions (the Italian co-production company working with EON), have placed parking restrictions in the town around the Piazza Duomo and Via Gradoni Duomi until the 12th September, indicating that there are quite a few more scenes to capture.

Furthermore, parking will be restricted along the Via Pentasuglia stretch between Via Piave and Vico II Festa until the 21st September.

Local press reports that although the production has already constructed temporary buildings for the hotel balcony in the town and a nearby cemetery set, the crew are due to build another structure at the Gradoni Duomo for 'spectacular' shooting.

Lotus Productions has also asked to build a wooden ramp that will be used for a 'reckless jump' in the Piazza Duomo.
