George Lazenby's documentary about how he became James Bond and then "walked away from it all" premiered on Saturday 11th March at the Stateside Theatre in Austin, Texas, as part of the 2017 SXSW festival.
Director Josh Greenbaum mixes footage of an up-close and intimate interview with Lazenby with reconstructions of scenes from his past. Fellow Australian actor Josh Lawson plays Lazenby in the flashback scenes.

According to early reviews, the film spends a fair amount of time filling in Lazenby's early life and the path he took to taking over the role of 007, but does not focus much on his life after 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service'.
'Becoming Bond' will be released exclusively in the USA on Hulu from May 20th, 2017.
