Jim Whaley (1948-1992) created and hosted Cinema Showcase on Atlanta public television station WPBA (Channel 30) from 1972 to 1992. He previously hosted Cinema Soundtrack for two years on WABE-FM radio, and was for 12 years the film reviewer for Atlanta's Creative Loafing newspaper.

Archived at the Walter J. Brown Media Archives in 1995, an episode that featured James Bond star Roger Moore discussing 'The Spy Who Loved Me' with Whaley just before the film opened in cinemas around the world has now been made available to watch online.

As well as discussing the new 007 adventure, Moore talks about the various styles of directors.
