Whereas the DB10 Craig drove in 'SPECTRE' was limited to a production of just ten, and underneath the sleek new design it was basically a V8 Vantage, this is all new. Indeed, it's the first all-new 'DB' car from Aston Martin since 2003's DB9.

Design-wise, it'll feel familiar, yet evolved. The iconic radiator grille has been reinterpreted, its lines and features amplified and celebrated. All-new LED head and taillights give it a modern flair. Triumphant new elements, such as the dramatic roof strake, underline DB11’s confidence and originality, while the new side strakes, key to DB11’s pioneering aerodynamics, bring harmony of form and function. The pure and honest product of authentic, justified lines, DB11 is an immaculate work of automotive art.

The new DB11 is the most powerful DB production model in Aston Martin’s history. Powered by a 5.2-litre V12 twin turbo engine, boasting 600 bhp and 700 Nm of torque, the new car is modern inside and out. Two LCD screens inside give clear driving instruments and infotainment. Automatic boot, bonnet, and armrests add to the luxury GT feel. It's roomier than past Astons too, wider and with a slightly longer wheelbase.

For those who can't possibly get their hands on a DB10, the dreamy new DB11 is £154,000 - so you're still going to need to be a wealthy motoring enthusiast to afford one. For the rest of us, here's the powerful new car in photos.
